A nice rainy day

Everybody likes the rain. When it goes away, we get sad.

Last week, it rained heavily. Before the rain started, the clouds became all dark and the sun went away. There was lightning and thunder.

I went outside in the balcony with my umbrella when the rain started. I was dancing and jumping in the puddles. My family looked at me with joy. My mother and brother went after me. People enjoy the rain because it is fun to play in. It makes a hot day cooler and makes us feel happy.

After coming inside I had some delicious ice-cream. People like to eat yummy snacks when it rains as well.

At the end of the day, we were exhausted but felt good in our hearts because we had so much fun in the rain.
